Connecting Families to Mainstream Benefits Training Recording

Provided through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA), this is a free course that trains case workers to assist adults in applying for the Social Security Administration’s (SSA) disability programs, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI). The CoC strongly encourages all case managers who assist participants with SSI/SSDI applications use the SOAR model.
