Hear JOHS director Dan Field on Think Out Loud

Dan Field, director of the Joint Office of Homeless Services, was recently interviewed on Oregon Public Broadcasting’s Think Out Loud, along with Skyler Brocker-Knapp, director of Portland Solutions.

They explain the strengthened and collaborative effort between the City of Portland and Multnomah County to support unhoused people in our community to be able to access shelter, services and housing.

Dan also shares details about the Joint Office’s dramatic turnaround in investing Supportive Housing Services funds — with the department exceeding, for the first time, its Metro-approved spending target.
