Multnomah County board approves plans for new homelessness resource center, village-style shelter in Gresham.

Details:
- New day use center providing access to hygiene services, case management, and housing navigation;
- New 24/7 village-style shelter for up to 42 people;
- Retained capacity to shelter up to 90 individuals during emergency severe weather; and
- Privacy fencing, on-site parking, and new green space.

| January – February 2025 | Organize a workgroup for negotiations and deliberations of content in Good Neighbor Agreement (GNA). |
| February – March 2025 | Announce shelter operator. Host 2nd community meeting and introduce GNA process. |
| March – July 2025 | Construction begins on the facility. Convene GNA workgroup. |
| July – September 2025 | Host 3rd community meeting to publicize content of GNA. Vote and approve GNA and post on project website. |
| November -December 2025 | Construction is completed. Hold a press event and community sneak peek of facility. Shelter operator begins taking referrals. |
