Membership
The SHS Advisory Committee includes community members who:
- have lived experience of homelessness and/or extreme poverty;
- are from Black, Indigenous and people of color and other marginalized communities;
- provide culturally responsive and culturally specific services;
- are representatives from the county and cities participating in the 2018 affordable housing bond;
- work in the business, faith, and philanthropic sectors;
- come from County/City agencies responsible for implementing housing and homelessness services;
- are health and behavioral health representatives;
- and represent diverse geographic areas.
Committee members serve terms of 2 to 3 years and work to ensure that there is not a full turnover of Committee members at any given time.
